Day 1 in Computers

After my first day in Computers in the Classroom, I find myself very excited to learn more about what technology can offer me that will be helpful both inside and outside the classroom. I was unaware of all the different types of programs and services that the web had to offer, such as twitter. Even though I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable of computers, I found that I had not only not had the opportunity to use these programs, but I had never even heard of them. I hope to learn these programs so that one day I can teach my students these programs so that they will be exposed to all that they have to offer. This blog is not only my first blog on this site, but my first blog that I have ever written, so I am happy to know that I am already learning more about technology. Everyone should have the opportunity to understand technology in today's world, because it plays such a major part in everyday life.
